NEW SINGLE IN PRODUCTION

After “California Forever”, which represented the first single I ever put out under my name, it’s time for me to talk about my forthcoming single.

With the previous one, we let out all the pain, healing and ultimately achieved peace, which made it so that as a person and an artist, I would just become one and whole again.

The next one has a totally different vibe: it’s gonna be a testament to the force and drive of piercing through the industry not as someone who tries to “please the algorithm”, but as someone who 100% knows their worth and quality, and aims to shake souls organically, rather than because of algorithmic suggestions on social media. It’s going to be more on the funk rock side of things, fast, violent, slappy.

In a world of artists trying to build strategies to emerge from the saturated world of Instagram and Tik Tok, the next single will be shaking things without aiming to do so: an autotelic statement, doing it for the sole purpose of doing it for myself, regardless of whether social media equations or people like it or not.

The preproduction is ready, we’re going to MooseCat studios and work with Mike Post (who also worked on the previous song) on March 22nd to track drums (played by Alvin Lamar Dawson Jr.) and re-amp bass and guitars (the latter played by Sean Monsalve).

Once that’s done, we’ll assemble everything and work with a producer for the mixing and mastering process.

We’re aiming to release the song in the summer, depending on the circumstances and timelines of promotion campaigns and whatnot. The song title will be revealed soon.

It might or might not have a music video, possibly animated. We’ll see how the costs will be.

In the meantime, as a little clue, please remember:
